School Services

Our team can work on a consultation basis to identify areas of learning difficulty in school, and develop methods to modify the teaching situation to help your child overcome stumbling blocks. Consultation includes training for their teaching staff in Applied Behavior Analysis techniques designed to most effectively teach your child.

Your Kadiant consultant will have regular contact with you to discuss your child’s progress, and our consultation services are flexible, and individualized to meet the needs of your child.

We can conduct, write, and present Functional Assessments and Independent Education Evaluations to support learners in the classroom. We'll gather information through interviews with their teachers and support staff, review and analyze existing records and data, perform observation sessions, synthesize the findings into a Behavior Plan, and collaborate with the IEP team.

Many learners need direct classroom support, and we offer ABA services in academic settings to help clients

meaningfully engage in curriculum and activities. Our therapists and behavioral aides can work in both general and special education classrooms, and focus on the areas of need identified by the learner’s IEP team.

We integrate seamlessly into the classroom to support learners and implement the Behavior Plan in a variety of ways:

• Taking the child aside to focus on individual work

• Facilitating participation in group activities

• Encouraging social interactions with peers

• Natural Environment Teaching (NET), &

• Reducing disruptive behaviors

Kadiant works with school staff to implement Behavior Support or Intervention Plans, and clinically evaluate their efficacy. Staff training may be tailored to the needs of the school staff or specific classrooms, and topics may include data collection, identifying the function of behaviors, using reinforcement effectively, responding to behavior excesses, improving communication, or facilitating social skills.

Kadiant educational aides providing direct support also regularly consult with the school staff, analyze the data collected, and collaborate with the IEP team.
